What was Aidline doing in Belgrade on May 17th? Well, attending the 65th “International Fair of technics and technical achievements”, of course! And we had a blast!
What kind of a fair exactly is that?
The “International Fair of technics and technical achievements” is an annual fair that is focused on the field of production technologies.
The fair is an important event for innovators and entrepreneurs, as well as companies that want to showcase their new technological ideas and inventions.
This year’s fair was under the topic of the Industrial Revolution – the factories of the future founded on the mass digitalization of production processes. Digitalization revolutionized the way in which various companies from different fields manage their production and opened numerous possibilities in the fast-evolving world of technology.
Naissus tech & Aidline at the Fair
We were honored to be invited by the Science Technology Park in Nis to be one of their members to present a product. ST Park was there to support their members and showcase the innovations that came to be thanks to the successful collaboration and mutual help.
As members of the Park, we were chosen to show what our product Aidline can do and what its benefits are. We were part of the ST booth on the second day of the fair and got to not only show our product but also see all the other ambitious and amazing ideas and innovations.
Aidline - the tech aid of medicine
Aidline is a medical voice assistant that acts as a “middleman” between the clinics and patients. What this means is that, when you call a clinic, you don’t get a busy line (which is the most common scenario, as you probably already know) – you get connected to Aidline, and get to go through the triage process fairly easily, with little to no wait time on the line.
The benefit is two-fold – patients no longer have to wait for someone to pick up the phone at the clinic and are led through a series of questions fairly easily and quickly until they reach their goal. That goal can include appointment scheduling, informing about symptoms, or getting the answers to FAQs. On the other hand, the medical staff is not busy with managing the ever-ringing phones and booking doctor’s visits and can focus on key tasks such as taking care of patients once they arrive at the clinic.
What is more, Aidline is a voice assistant, so you don’t have to text it via a virtual chat. You can talk with Aidline as if you were talking to a staff member because Aidline can understand you and answer in a clear voice.
Speaking of talking to Aidline, the visitors of the fair had a chance to test this feature and see for themselves how straightforward the whole process is, and how easy it is to have a conversation with this voice assistant. Apart from that, they were free to ask our CTO Djordje Mitic and COO Ivan Krasic about our product and its benefits, and all the ways it could help strengthen the bond between medicine and AI.
An honor to attend
We have a couple of takeaways after attending the Fair this year. Firstly, we consider the invitation to be a presenter at the STP Nis booth an affirmation that we are going in the right direction. It feels like a reward to know that our work is recognized as something that is going to help healthcare workers and patients.
We are also grateful for the STP-Naissus tech partnership that has been going strong for 3 years now. It really is a privilege to be a member of the park and participate in numerous workshops, events, and presentations, as well as accompany them to fairs and conferences such as this one.
Finally, we are glad that events such as this one exist. Seeing all the innovative minds at the fair from different fields and industries, we are proud to say that our country has great potential for technological change and novelties.

See you again
Be it with an upgraded and improved version of Aidline, or another product engineered by the Naissus tech team, we certainly hope to be back next year, with an even stronger collaboration with STP Nis!
